Complimentary tea and milk upon arrival and a welcoming phone call from the owners. Convenient location close to the village center and nearby attractions. The lodge was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and all necessary amenities provided.
The shower screen was not in place during our stay, which was a minor inconvenience. However, this was due to a broken screen being replaced under guarantee.

The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to the village center and a brewery and visitor center nearby. We were welcomed with a lovely touch from the owners and they even called to make sure we were settled in. The lodge was quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. we couldn't have asked for more.
The lack of bunk beds in the small bedroom. We had to put the kids in the double bed, which meant my husband and I had to sleep separately.
